Do you know hoe to maintain Cisco Service Provider VPNs and MPLS Networks? Well find out using this 9 question quiz here -> https://www.ciscofeedback.vovici.com/se.ashx?s=6A5348A724F9B9A3

Hmm question 8, i tend to disagree with the answer there. Typical Cisco with their vague questioning. MPLS TTL wont prevent the looping of packets, it will prevent them from looping indefinitely but it wont stop the loop. Routing protocols can do this (if you remove this from the answer ‘there is no other mechanism to prevent the looping of labeled packet’). Thoughts?
Keith,
Yep, I chose routing protocols as my answer as well. Nice treatment of the MPLS TTL over at PacketLife -> http://packetlife.net/blog/2008/dec/22/disabling-mpls-ttl-propagation/
A nasty SP OEQ to get.
Steve.
I got 7/8…first attempt. That means over 90% I guess
